Friskney Primary School are now part of the new Lincolnshire Police Programme ‘Mini Police in Primary Schools’. This is a new engagement programme for children ranging from 9 -11 yrs old (Upper Key ST 2) with the aim to develop ambassadors for the school to work with the local police force. The police are working to build a community cohesion project that embodies community engagement with local schools. The children will work on different PSHE projects guided by school staff and J Richardson our local community officer. Over the year the Mini Police group will complete tasks in school and within the community looking at promoting school and British values. The children will work with pupils in school to build self-esteem, they will work to develop communication skills where others can talk to the mini police for support and guidance and act as a pupil voice in matters that need addressing.
