Day 4 – Our Final Day in Italian Classes Today marked our final day in Italian classes, and the children spent their last lessons learning alongside the new friends they've made during our trip. It was fantastic to see how much confidence and connection has grown in such a short time. We were also able to set up a Teams call with our class back in England, which was a lovely moment for everyone. Some of the children joined in with a music lesson, sharing their experience across countries a brilliant example of learning without borders! There were some heartfelt farewells as we said goodbye to our Italian friends, with lots of hugs all round. These friendships will certainly be remembered long after we return home. Of course, no day in Italy would be complete without a treat we managed to squeeze in a delicious ice cream at lunchtime before heading into our afternoon coding session. After a busy and rewarding day, it was time to return to the hotel to shower, pack, get ready for dinner and an impromptu card game in the corridor A perfect end to such a meaningful day in our journey. www.friskneyprimary.co.uk Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust William Lovell CofE Academy The Wainfleet Magdalen Church of England/Methodist Primary School Friskney All Saints C of E Primary School #TuringScheme #friskney #laat #aboveandbeyond #oldandnewhorizons

Day 3 of the Italy trip and what a full day of adventures. Being part of an English lesson in Italy meant our children were very popular! This afternoon the children learnt how to make pizza and of course taste a few! Then we had a visit to an Italian supermarket before spending time on the beach. It has been brilliant watching the children mix with William Lovell CofE Academy and The Wainfleet Magdalen Church of England/Methodist Primary School as well as pupils from the Instituto Comprensivo Statale Filippo Masci di Franca Villa. A special mention (and photo) to a certain Dad whose birthday is today www.friskneyprimary.co.uk #TuringScheme #friskney #oldandnewhorizons #laat #StrongerTogether Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust

Sat enjoying an ice cream now before we walk back to the hotel for dinner. The children have embraced lots of new experiences with maturity and impeccable behaviour.
