Hello! I am Miss Taylor, I started my teaching career in 2002 right here at Friskney All Saints. From a very young age I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and my love and passion for teaching simply grew and continues to flourish today. My natural leadership skills were identified very early on in my career and have been utilised in many different areas. I have led most subject areas across the whole school, I was Sports Leader for the East Coast, I have been a Literacy lead and specialist teacher, I was a leading teacher for the Early Years and have shone as an NQT mentor, Senior teacher and Deputy Head. After an outstanding Ofsted, here at Friskney All Saints in 2008, I was seconded by the Birth to Five service as a consultant for Lincolnshire. Here I worked in a variety of settings developing strong leadership teams; supporting teachers and professionals who were causing concern; implementing action plans to support settings that had had inadequate inspections; amongst other key roles. It also included delivering training across the county to all professionals on new initiatives. It is in Early Years where my heart of teaching belongs, I am a firm believer if we get it right here then children will develop a love and thirst for learning which will see them flourish into successful young people of our future.

After the birth of my second child in 2011, I returned to part time teaching as I believe it is so important to keep it real and keep your feet on the ground. Here I focused my time in Key Stage 2, which included several years of teaching Year 6. Having first hand knowledge of each and every aspect of the curriculum enables you to have high expectations and identify challenge ensuring every child reaches their potential.

In my personal life my family and friends, especially my beautiful son and daughter, are everything to me and I love nothing more than making special memories with them from fun times on the beach, playing at the park or enjoying board games at home! When I get time I enjoy reading a good book which I find extremely relaxing. I am a keen supporter of netball and played at county level until only a few years ago when unfortunately a nasty knee injury, obtained whilst playing, saw me having to retire form the game. Today I try to enjoy less competitive and lower impact sports such as jogging and swimming, that is when I get a chance!

My motto for life is "Reach for the stars, they are there for the taking."

I am Mrs Clark and I teach in Blue Class, Year 4, alongside Mrs Pedley and I am the schools SENCO. I have been teaching at this school for 8 years.  I love teaching children and watching them learn.  My favourite subject to teach is Literacy as I am a keen reader and writer.   I love encouraging children to paint pictures with words!  I love spending time with my wonderful family and amazing friends.  Unfortunately I am ALWAYS shopping and have passion for new shoes and handbags.  I simply adore Disney and adding a touch of sparkle to everything that I do!  My motto in life is to be a flamingo amongst a flock of pigeons.

I am Mrs Shears and I teach the Early Years Foundation Stage and Year One in Red Class.  I am in my tenth year of teaching and I have worked with children since graduating in psychology nearly thirty years ago - this has been with children in residential care and in the inspection of children's services.  I trained to be a teacher in 2010 in Lincoln and I am married to another local teacher (who you may know!). I am the English and phonics lead for the school.

I have three wonderful sons ages 16, 14 and 11. I love cooking and camping in our tent with my family (preferably somewhere hot!).  I have the best job in the world!

My name is Miss Salmon and I teach in Green Class (Year 3).  I started working at Friskney school last April, after moving back to the local area, having lived in Turkey and travelled for a couple of years but I soon missed the Lincolnshire air and of course, my family! I have been teaching for 12 years and I have experience in both KS1 and KS2 and really enjoy working with children of different ages. In my spare time, I love to see my family and walk my dog Archie (you may see me out and about with him on the beach!). I am very passionate about yoga and I have attended many courses to help me learn and develop new techniques, so this keeps me very busy outside off school! It is so important to me that the children in my care feel happy, safe and ready to learn during the exciting lessons that I plan!

My name is Mrs Lenton (or Mrs Lovely Lenton as many of the children call me). I have been a teacher at Friskney School since September 2000 – gosh doesn’t time fly when you are enjoying yourself. However I have actually been teaching since September 1987 and as I say to the children in my class, ‘I have been there, done that and got the t-shirt!’  I am now teaching a class of Year 1 and 2 children but I have taught in KS2, KS1 and Foundation Stage. My favourite subjects are pretty much everything! I am the P.E. Co-ordinator in school and I love taking children to sports events. I try not to be too competitive as I always say to the children that it's the taking part that counts (but I do like it when Team Friskney wins).

Outside school I enjoy spending time with my family and love to go on holiday with them both at home (Costa del Bluebell) and abroad (somewhere hot or Disney). My husband says I watch too much television especially films, my favourite at the moment being ‘Leap Year’ – I know EVERY LINE! I love to watch Strictly and I love anything sparkly.

My name is Miss Goodwin and I teach Violet Class, Year 6.

I am in my fourth year of teaching at Friskney Primary School but into my fifth year of teaching. Before Friskney I trained to be a teacher in Leeds and also taught there for 1 year before I decided I missed the fish and chips and arcades at Skegness too much so I moved back into the area. My favourite subjects to teach are Topic (I have such a passion for History!) and English but I love teaching everything! When I am not at school,  I REALLY enjoy shopping and find it hard to resist buying myself some new clothes or shoes! I also love to spend time with my friends, family and especially my adorable cat.  If I'm not doing either of these you'll find me relaxing on the sofa watching a good film!

I am Mrs Carter-Hill and I now teach in Year 5 (Indigo Class).  I am about to start my fifth year of teaching and particularly enjoy teaching PE and Mathematics.  I studied 'Education and Sport' in Lincoln and then moved further afield to study teaching in Canterbury.  I am a keen sportswoman and play for a local netball team.  I am a competitive player and love to try any new sports.  My passion is attending sports events such as NFL.  My preferred football team is Walsall (someone has to!) When I’m not playing sports I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I am Mrs Banham and I  teach in Yellow Class (year 2). I have been a teacher for over 20 years.  I have a passion for Science and investigating, it is so much fun!  I have even been known to send rockets across the playground, make Coca Cola explode and set out the Solar System on the school field. I am firm but fair, but also very kind, helpful and funny. I live on a farm and enjoy helping out with any farm chores.   I like to do mountain biking in my spare time.
