Welcome to Orange Class!
A big welcome to Orange Class. We are Year One children who are in our first year of the National Curriculum. We are really proud of being in Key Stage One and of all our learning. We enjoy sharing our successes with our friends and grown ups.
Miss Hall is our class teacher (you can find out more about her on the Teachers page of our website). Miss Jeeves, Ms Jackson, Mrs Simpson and Mrs Scott support us in our learning and help Miss Hall make Orange Class an exciting and fun place to be.
Homework is given each Friday, together with weekly spellings. We have a week to complete our homework tasks, then share our homework during a special sharing Circle Time the following Friday. We love to read to our grown ups in school and at home. If your book needs changing then please put in the reading book tray in the morning!
PE is on a Wednesday morning and a Monday afternoon for Orange Class. PE kits and suitable shoes (clearly named!) need to be in school all week for additional PE time.
Please be aware that you will need a pair of shorts to be able to use our new climbing frame and apparatus.
A long term plan of our learning is attached so you can see the exciting opportunities we are looking forward to over the next academic year.
